descriptive text for 8a

example:
Gregory is my beautiful gray Persian cat. He walks with pride and grace, performing a dance of disdain as he slowly lifts and lowers each paw with the delicacy of a ballet dancer. His pride, however, does not extend to his appearance, for he spends most of his time indoors watching television and growing fat.

He enjoys TV commercials, especially those for Meow Mix and 9 Lives. His familiarity with cat food commercials has led him to reject generic brands of cat food in favor of only the most expensive brands.

Gregory is as finicky about visitors as he is about what he eats, befriending some and repelling others. He may snuggle up against your ankle, begging to be petted, or he may imitate a skunk and stain your favorite trousers. Gregory does not do this to establish his territory, as many cat experts think, but to humiliate me because he is jealous of my friends.

After my guests have fled, I look at the old fleabag snoozing and smiling to himself in front of the television set, and I have to forgive him for his obnoxious, but endearing, habits.

NB: make a story about your favorite animals..  give a picture or something interesting because you are going to retell your story in front of the class. thx..

NB: for 8B-E please  find the generic structure of the text and label it. after that please list the characteristics of the persian cat.

reading 1
On Sunday morning last week, Mary went out for a picnic with some other girls. It was a fine day. The sky was clear. Then, sun was shining. They did not think it was going to rain, so they did not bring any raincoat.
Suddenly, the win began to blow. There were dark clouds in the sky. The rain came down. It rained heavily. There were lighting and thunder. Mary and all the other girls were very wet. They were wet to the skin. They were very cold.
The next morning Mary did not go to school. She was absent. Miss Rosy was surprised. She asked the pupils in the class, were Mary was. John stood up and said to the teacher. He said that Mary had got a cold and a cough.
Miss Rosy was very sorry for her.

 reading 2

Long ago, in the Neverland, US, there lived a very beautiful princess, Snow White. The Queen was her stepmother. She was very jealous for her beauty. So she wanted her to die.
Snow White knew about the evil plan but she did not want to injure her step mother. She chose to escape into a forest. There she made friends with seven dwarfs. They accepted her to stay in their house because of her kindness to them. She was willing to cook for them, clean their house and care of them.
The Queen turned herself into a witch. Snow White did not realize it. The witch gave her a poisoned apple. As a result, Snow White was put into sleep for years.
Fortunately, in the end, Prince Charming revived her with a kiss. They live together happily ever after.
